Private Pilot Ground SchoolNone announced at this time  Cost is $275 (+ required materials).   The Private Pilot ground school is a forty five hour course designed for the beginning learner.   The student will learn about the fundamentals of flight, flight operations, aviation weather, performance and navigation.   We will be using the Jeppesen developed Guided Flight Discovery for Private Pilots syllabus.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   Prerequisites:   None
Instrument Ground SchoolNone announced at this timeCost is $300 (+ required materials).   This ground school is designed to take the learner to the next level in aeronautical competence.  This course offers in-depth learning on topics such as the principles of instrument flight, instrument charts and procedures and ends with advanced instrument flight operations. Approximate 9 week course. We will be using the Jeppesen developed Guided Flight Discovery for Instrument/Commercial Pilots syllabus.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   Prerequisites:   None.
Diamond DA40 / G1000 Class    None announced at this time   Cost is $95 (materials provided).   Introduction to the modern glass cockpit found in our Diamond DA40.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   You don’t need to be a pilot to take advantage of this incredible training no prerequisites required.

Using the radios is a tough part of training for a lot of students.   Just listening to the tower radio with a handheld radio or on the net can help a lot.
