Training Calendar - February 2009

All classes at JEFA Centennial office unless otherwise noted.

Private Pilot Ground School A - Jan 27 thru Apr 30 - 5:30p-8:00p.   Class will be in Jeppesen Bulding 55 - 55 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, 80112 - in the Elrey Jeppesen Conference Room. Cost is $200(+ required materials).   The Private Pilot ground school is a forty five hour course designed for the beginning learner.   The student will learn about the fundamentals of flight, flight operations, aviation weather, performance and navigation.   We will be using the Jeppesen developed Guided Flight Discovery for Private Pilots syllabus.  This may be purchased at Jeppesen's Sky Supplies shop.  It is recommended that you purchase this book in advance and have read at least the first chapters before class starts.  If you are also continuing with flight training, it is recommended that you purchas the book as part of either the Part 61 kit or the Part 141 kit as you will eventually need these other materials.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   Prerequisites:   None 

Diamond DA40 / G1000 Class A - Jan31 - Feb 1 , 8:00a - 12:00n.   Cost is $90 (materials provided).   Introduction to the modern glass cockpit found in our Diamond DA40.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   You don't need to be a pilot to take advantage of this incredible training no prerequisites required.

Diamond DA40 / G1000 Class B - Feb 9, 11, 13, 5:30p - 8:30p.   Cost is $90 (materials provided).   Introduction to the modern glass cockpit found in our Diamond DA40.   This training is available to ALL Jeppesen employees, Jeppesen Retirees and their families.   You don't need to be a pilot to take advantage of this incredible training no prerequisites required.
